Public Mass Updates

As of 6/17/2021, we have opened all Masses to the public and will continue to live-stream all Masses. Masks are required for everyone over 2-years old and we encourage observing a minimum of 3 feet of social distance. We no longer require attendees to complete the Informed Consent/Contact Tracing form.  We will continue to keep doors and windows open for ventilation.

The special dispensation to attend Sunday Mass will be dropped effective June 24, 2021.  According to canon law, anyone who feels sick or who fears they may be seriously adversely affected by infection are dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass.

*This is subject to change week to week depending on the SF Health Department regulations and volunteers for mass preparation.

Volunteer for In-Person Mass Support:
Please email with:

  • Which mass you plan to attend
  • The frequency and duration of your ability to volunteer

In order to proceed safely with resuming in-person attendance at Mass, we are seeking volunteers to serve as ushers. Importantly, if we do not have at least four (4) volunteer ushers for a Mass, that Mass will not be open for in-person attendance. We will continue to live stream all Masses.

Return to Mass Usher Responsibilities

Arrive at least a half-hour before Mass for training and organization. Collect and assist attendees in completing affidavits. Control the entry of attendees into the church, and guide attendees to the pews. Ensure that attendees are maintaining physical distancing and other safety practices. Ideally, volunteers would make a weekly or bi-weekly commitment to help.

When You Arrive

  • Masks are required at all times, both outside and inside the church
  • Restrooms will not be available.

During Mass

  • Mask are required at all times during Mass.
  • We encourage you to maintain 3ft social distancing between households.
  • Children must remain in the pew with their families
  • Restrooms will NOT be available
  • Windows and doors will remain open to allow ventilation of the worship space.
  • The sign of peace will be made with a nod to others.

Leaving Mass

  • All gatherings will occur outside in our patio space
  • Please consider continuing to financially support our parish during this time to help us support our parish staff, programs & ministries, and maintenance.
